Graduate membership is by invitation only. Women seeking membership should visit www.aka1908.com for more information regarding the sorority and qualifications for membership.

Transfers

The Transfer Verification Form is an official Sorority form which documents that an inactive member has met all financial obligations to her former chapter and the Boulé. Before transferring membership from one chapter to another, you must obtain clearance from the former chapter. Before transferring your status as a General Member to chapter member, you must obtain clearance from the Corporate Office. No chapter can accept an inactive member into active membership before receiving a completed Transfer Verification Form.

Visiting Members

Chapter Meetings:

Xi Alpha Omega Chapter meetings are open to duly initiated members of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. Proof of membership is required and must be verified prior to entering the meeting. Please present your most recent membership card, Ivy Leaf magazine with name and address label attached or certificate of membership, along with photo identification upon arrival.

Virtual Meetings

We are currently meeting virtually due to the global pandemic.  In order to visit with us virtually, please contact our Membership Chairman.

In-person Meetings

Business attire is required for every chapter meeting. Chapter meetings are held on the fourth Saturday of each month excluding the months of July and August. Chapter meetings begin promptly at 11:00 a.m. First-time visitors are encouraged to arrive no later than 10:30 a.m. so that credentials can be verified prior to admittance.
